Reproductive care resources for all

Free Emergency Contraceptives

Emergency contraception (also known as Plan B or the morning after pill) is legal, safe, and effective at preventing pregnancy after sex. It's most effective if used within 72 hours of having sex. EC isn’t an abortion pill—it prevents pregnancy from starting. EC is available over the counter for about $50, or you can get it for free through the mail from us or the Yellowhammer Fund.

If you're in Alabama and you need EC TODAY but can't afford to buy it, we will do our best to it to you ASAP. We'll do this through our network of community partners or by placing a pick-up order to a pharmacy in your area. We'll get creative if we have to—it is WAY easier and cheaper to prevent an unwanted pregnancy than it is to access abortion care. More information about EC is available here.
