Free Emergency Contraceptives
Emergency contraceptive (sometimes called EC, Plan B or Julie) can help prevent a pregnancy if taken 72 hours after sex. This medicine prevents pregnancy; it is not an abortion pill and will not end a pregnancy that has already started. Because of the small time window that EC can be taken, we recommend that everyone keep EC on hand so that you have it when you (or your sister or friend or whoever!) have a need. Free EC is available either through the mail or we can get to you faster if you have an urgent need and you're in the Madison County area.
